I founded my company to help those, like myself start and succeed in setting up an online business. AMH Marketing provides products and services to help small businesses with their internet marketing needs. As the company grows, I will be developing new products and services to help small businesses succeed online. After losing 2 jobs in the last 10 years due to downsizing, I realized that in today's world, there is no job security. I have worked in the Credit Card industry and for a Big 10 University. In both instances I lost high paying positions due to corporate takeovers and lack of funding. Months before my position with the university came to an end I began yet another job search. To my dismay, the job market was not favorable for my skills. Having been a data analyst for the last 15 years, I was discouraged to find a job market filled with health care positions and highly technical programming positions. One thing I did notice in the job postings were several "work at home" jobs. As I explored these jobs I asked myself "Is this the answer"? Can you make a living online and make an income to support yourself and your family? As you know the internet is filled with "get rich quick" programs and lots of hype on how you can turn $5 into hundreds of thousands of dollars. As I researched various programs and systems I came across a website that changed my thinking about online business: Make-a-Living-Online.com. As I read through the site, It was clear to me that this was not the typical "get rich now" site I was so accustomed to seeing. By the time I finished the 5 step tutorial, I was filled with ideas for starting an online business. I ordered the book (an actual book! not an ebook) and patiently waited for it to arrive. When my book came in the mail, I read it front to back immediately.
